City of Cedartown

For more than thirty years, Cedartown has hosted the Cedar Valley Arts Festival each May. This annual festival includes arts and crafts, live entertainment, food, a five-kilometer run and exhibits. Also, the Cedartown Fall Festival (October) and the Antique Show and Sale (March) are annual events which highlight Cedartown.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Cedartown had a population of 9,470 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 18.7%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
